Purpose of Position:
Senior UX/ UI Designer to provide amazing user experience solutions for a large and highly complex application that contributes to the safety and security of fellow Americans. The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean, visually appealing and functional user interfaces and enjoy producing graphical elements like images, typography, and iconography to translate high-level requirements into beautiful, intuitive, and functional user interfaces. You will work collaboratively with fellow members of the user experience team to conceptualize, strategize, design, and prototype ideas while working with other project teams and stakeholders to assist in the conceptualization of the overall strategy of the product. This is a remote position with regular virtual check-ins with your team and other project stakeholders.
Primary Responsibilities:
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Education: BA in Psychology or Design, willing to waive if good portfolio.
Experience: UX or UI background, 5 yrs experience in true UX or UI design (prefer actual design over UX management, etc.)
Travel:
25%. Include supporting ~monthly User Touchpoints at (e.g at APG, MD, or Ft. Cavazos, TX)
