THE ROLE
As WeRise’s Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for strategizing and managing content across all of our social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. You’ll also collaborate on strategy for Senada’s personal social channels and support her in executing content ideas that align with the brand’s commercial goals. In addition, you’ll be expected to oversee and manage UGC creators to ensure the brand consistently features fresh faces and engaging content.
THIS ROLE IS RIGHT FOR YOU IF…
- You are someone who has a genuine love for fitness and wellness and loves to keep on top of other social media trends. You understand the industry and what content to make for a brand that is deeply rooted in fitness, well-being and self-care. This content should come naturally to you.
- You will have a strong background of working with digital and social agencies or wellness/fitness brands and must excel in producing engaging and creative social media and digital work, across planning, strategy and media.
- You are confident in managing strategies for a social-first short-form content platform. This includes writing scripts, producing short-form content and managing post-production with the content team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
WeRise’s Brand Socials:
- Create social media strategies with clear, measurable objectives.
- Responsible for the organic social media calendar for WeRise’s social platforms - this includes brainstorming ideas, designing content, posting, and reporting.
- Curate an organic social media calendar and schedule content across all brand owned social channels including Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
- Develop and execute content ideas to stay aligned with trends, viral content, and pop-culture/social media news.
- Brief, review and approve content delivered by in-house video editors and graphics.
- Self-shooting, uploading and editing content where necessary in order to maintain the smooth running of the content.
- Writing weekly blog posts for the WeRise blog - aligned with the commercial offerings for the week/month and matching the TOV of socials.
- Owning the UGC and affiliate marketing strategies for the brand and executing its operations.
- Complete ownership of campaign ideas on how to activate brand socials for upcoming challenges, new guides, or any app-related activations that will help drive more conversions through social media.
- Work with the Marketing Manager to initiate innovative social content campaigns that help drive brand awareness, PR coverage and social engagement
- Support the growth team in producing ad creatives for Meta and TikTok.
Senada’s Personal Brand Management:
- Develop, ideate, and curate engaging content concepts across Senada’s social media platforms (Instagram mainly but also assist with ideas for TikTok and YouTube)
- When required during brand activation and campaign times, create high-quality graphics, videos, and written posts that reflect Senada’s voice and style and meet the brand’s commercial goals.
- Analyze trends and insights to optimize content performance and identify new opportunities for Senada’s own pages.
- Work closely with Senada to understand her vision and translate it into effective social media content, and ensure consistency in messaging and branding.
SKILLS + EXPERIENCE:
- B.A. degree in communication, marketing or related field
- 3 years in a Social Media Executive or Manager role, ideally for a brand
- Ability to create unique and social-first content that drives engagement and growth
- You need to be a creative thinker and be able to come up with content ideas for weeks in advance for Instagram and TikTok
- Quick and reactive in your content creation ability - you’ll be producing a lot of content in a single week, and staying ahead is vital to succeeding in this role
- Expert level editing skills to be able to curate content using in-app features, Canva, Capcut or equivalent.
- Copywriting skills suitable for each platform, from knowing how to write a successful hook using captions, to using effective storytelling techniques, while also understanding how to market to a social media audience
- The ability and confidence to work independently and be self-managed as long as the ideas and campaigns are approved.
