As a Senior Product Designer, you will play a crucial role in this mission, directly contributing to driving key initiatives as part of our strategy. The Ecosystem Business design team’s primary channel is the Atlassian marketplace – a two-sided marketplace, with partners and customers as primary user groups – though we also work with the partner and platform teams, working as one team to ensure our ecosystem is successful.

We work in a project based sprint model, so you will get to work on a wide variety of projects throughout the year. We provide numerous opportunities for you to explore and develop skills and domain knowledge.

Your Role

Role

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design intuitive and impactful user experiences that align with our strategic goals. Your work will help shape the tools and platforms that enable developers to publish apps, and for customers to find and buy apps that suit their needs. You'll have the opportunity to:

• Design user-centric interfaces that enhance the developer and customer experience.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to bring new features to life.
• Influence the direction of our ecosystem strategy by providing insights and design expertise.

We Expect You To Have

• 6+ years of hands-on professional experience as a UX or Product Designer in increasingly senior roles, designing and shipping product.
• Experience harnessing the energy of a large, highly skilled cross-functional product team. This means strong facilitation and collaboration abilities, a flexible and friendly approach to working with diverse teams, and the ability to lead teams toward the best design outcomes.
• Incredible communication skills, in multiple settings: one on ones, group meetings, and written communication. You can translate highly technical and complex content and systems to non-technical people, and more importantly into our user’s language.
• Experience with customer research, a high degree of customer empathy, and the ability to clear frame design problems in terms of target users and their needs and tasks.
• Comfort in defining projects and measures of success, testing your assumptions and outcomes, and continuously incorporating feedback.
• Strong execution skills and experience with modern tools such as Figma and Keynote. You're accustomed to using prototyping tools in your workflow.
