Job Title: Junior / Mid-Level Full Stack Engineer (Python | Node.js)

Location: Remote-first (work from anywhere, overlap ≥ 4 hours with EST preferred)

Compensation: USD 2,500 – 3,000 per month (contract-to-full-time)

About the Company

We're building a finance-first AI platform that verticalizes generative AI for investment banking and high-finance workflows. Our SaaS helps firms ingest private deal data and draft CIPs, management presentations, diligence memos and other deliverables 10× faster, letting them close deals sooner and serve more clients. We graduated from Techstars 2024 and already have customers using the product today.

Why this role matters

You’ll be one of the earliest engineers on a lean, high-impact team. You will ship new product capabilities end-to-end: backend services, AI-powered features, and customer-facing APIs that finance professionals rely on every day.

Must-have qualifications

• 1–3 years of professional software development experience (or equivalent projects).
• Proficiency in either Python or Node.js; curiosity to learn the other.
• Solid grasp of HTTP, REST, SQL, and basic cloud services (Compute, Storage).
• Comfortable with Git, unit testing, and code reviews in a collaborative team.
• Clear written & spoken English; able to work autonomously in a remote setup.

Nice-to-haves

• Exposure to LLM tooling (OpenAI/Anthropic SDKs, LangChain/LlamaIndex, vector DBs).
• Experience with GCP (Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, AlloyDB) or similar cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with financial data or document-automation workflows.
• Front-end (React/TanStack Router) for full-stack tasks.
