About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team, preferably based in Jersey City or Dallas, Texas. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits. The role is fully remote, allowing candidates from anywhere within the continental United States to apply.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining responsive web applications utilizing React.js, designing robust backend services with Node.js/Java, and creating RESTful APIs. The developer will also manage real-time data streaming with Apache Kafka, optimize data models with MongoDB, and deploy applications on AWS cloud infrastructure. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and DevOps specialists, is essential to ensure seamless project execution and high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

  • Minimum five years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying Java full stack applications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • Proficiency in React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
  • Strong experience with REST APIs and backend development
  • Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka for event-driven architecture
  • Solid understanding of MongoDB and NoSQL data modeling
  • Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and CloudWatch
  • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain responsive web applications using React.js to ensure optimal user experience
  • Design, implement, and maintain backend services and APIs utilizing Node.js and Java within a RESTful architecture
  • Integrate Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming and messaging to support event-driven applications
  • Work with MongoDB for data modeling, querying, and performance optimization to enhance data access and storage
  • Deploy, monitor, and manage applications on AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability and security
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and DevOps to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code adhering to best practices and industry standards
  • Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and perform performance tuning to optimize application performance
