RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Junior Graphic Designer in San Jose, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Newsletter & Campaign Visuals: Design visually striking layouts and graphics for internal newsletters and communications campaigns
- Infographics & Visual Storytelling: Translate complex data, strategies, and narratives into simple, clean, and digestible visuals
- Creative Ideation: Partner with communications leads and stakeholders to brainstorm and visualize new concepts, campaign themes, and storytelling formats
- Brand Adherence & Elevation: Ensure all visuals are aligned with brand guidelines, while pushing creative boundaries to deliver standout content
- Template Development: Create and maintain a suite of branded templates for executive and employee use
- Multimedia Collaboration: Work with video, motion graphics, or other media partners when appropriate to elevate messaging
- Deadline Management: Juggle multiple design projects with overlapping timelines, while delivering consistently high-quality work
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field
- 3+ years of professional design experience, ideally supporting executive or internal communications
- Advanced proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and presentation platforms like PowerPoint and Keynote; Experience with Figma is a plus
- A strong portfolio showcasing work on presentations, infographics, brand storytelling, and visual communication projects
- Experience working in fast-paced environments with a collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset
- Understanding of typography, layout, and color theory, and how to apply these to executive-level content
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interpret creative briefs and feedback effectively

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
