Full-stack Software Developer

This is an exciting and dynamic role. We are looking for individuals who can contribute at the forefront of climate change technology solutions, leveraging modern tech approaches.

In this role, you will:

• Design and Develop: Lead the development and deployment of robust, scalable full-stack features, emphasising both frontend and backend excellence.
• Innovate: Leverage your expertise to create sophisticated applications that address real-world climate and nature challenges. You will be given the resources and autonomy to execute projects according to your approach.
• Collaborate: Work closely with the wider team to deliver exceptional user experiences. With our small team, everyone takes ownership and plays a vital role in delivering key features and driving impactful changes.
• Infrastructure: Ensure reliable deployment and maintenance of applications. Utilise modern automation and serverless architecture.

About You:

We are seeking candidates who possess the following attributes:

• At least seven years of full-stack software development experience in a commercial setting.
• Expert in React, NextJS, and Typescript.
• Strong backend experience, particularly with PostgreSQL and AWS.
• Experience in GIS systems and integration.
• Proficiency or strong interest in AI-driven applications and data management.
• Comfortable building responsive web applications, working with data, and constructing automated workflows.
• Passion for technology. Be eager to learn and apply new concepts, continually expanding your skill set.

Nice to Have:

• Prior startup experience, especially in climate-tech or sustainability.
• Familiarity with spatial databases and mapping tools (Mapbox, QGIS, PostGIS).
• Experience with Docker.
• Building SaaS with Stripe integration
