**About the Role**

A full stack developer is sought to join the team on a permanent basis. This position is based in Peterborough and offers a hybrid working arrangement, with three days on-site and two days remote each week, following a successful probation period. The ideal candidate will be passionate about building scalable, efficient, and user-friendly software solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, designers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality applications that meet client requirements. **Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop, test, and maintain web applications and APIs across the full technology stack.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical specifications.

  • Build robust back-end systems, ensuring data security, integrity, and optimal performance.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
  • Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring code quality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly, minimizing downtime and ensuring system reliability.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and workflows.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in full stack development.
  • Support deployment activities and assist in maintaining and upgrading existing systems.
  • Work closely with QA teams to ensure thorough testing and quality assurance of all deliverables.

**Required Qualifications**

  • Proven experience as a full stack developer or software engineer, with a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies.
  • Proficiency in front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Solid experience with back-end development using technologies like Node.js, Python, or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of databases, including SQL and NoSQL options such as MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with RESTful API development and integration.
  • Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Good understanding of software development lifecycle, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and learn new technologies quickly.

**Preferred Qualifications**

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Prior experience working in a client-facing environment or consulting capacity.
  • Understanding of security best practices in full stack development.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.

**Additional Details**
