The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer with solid experience across the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js) and some experience building payroll products to join a fast-paced, product-driven environment. You’ll help architect and build scalable web applications, mentor junior developers, and collaborate closely with product and design teams.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using the MERN stack
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and user-friendly features
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical planning
• Mentor and support junior developers on the team

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of professional full-stack development experience
• Strong proficiency with MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, authentication, and authorization
• Fluent in English and Portuguese
• Experience with version control tools like Git
• Some experience with payroll products
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment (AWS, Vercel, etc.)
• Excellent communication and remote collaboration skills
• Passion for clean code, scalable systems, and agile development

Nice to Have

• Experience working with U.S. startups and product-led companies
• Familiarity with TypeScript
• Background in building team management or SaaS platforms
• Understanding of DevOps, Docker, or containerized environments
