Contract Graphic Designer, Events

Our events agency is seeking contract graphic designers to handle complete event design projects from concept to execution. We're looking for designers who can serve as holistic partners—developing initial look and feel concepts, then translating those approved elements across all event collateral.

You’ll spend your days on the following:

• Concept Development: Create initial look and feel presentations based on client briefs and event objectives, which might include:
• Logos
• Supporting design elements, such as iconography, textures, patterns, and color palettes
• Design Translation: Once concepts are approved, translate the design system across all event touchpoints and collateral including:
• Large-scale signage, directional event materials, pre-trip and welcome packets, high-end product packaging, amenity cards and other custom event essentials
• Branding installations and large-scale environmental graphics
• Digital graphics for use across web and mobile applications
• Project Management: Communicate with our team through our project management system, track deliverables, and manage your project timelines and budgets
• Team Collaboration: Participate in project meetings, present concepts to clients, and coordinate with internal teams throughout the project lifecycle

Project Types & Duration:

• Project-based contracts ranging from 2-10 weeks depending on event scope
• Seasonal opportunities with potential for ongoing relationships
• Rush projects available for designers who can work on tight timelines

Experience & Skills:

• 3+ years of professional design experience (agency or event experience preferred)
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Portfolio showcasing event collateral, environmental graphics, or experiential design work
• Experience with print production and understanding of large-format printing requirements
• Project ownership - ability to serve as the primary designer for complete event projects from concept through execution
• Strong project management skills - comfortable using project management systems to track deliverables and communicate with team members
