Job Description
The Social Media Manager will be responsible for managing social media accounts, posting
content, and tracking analytics. Over time, the role may expand to include content creation,
SEO, and brand strategy. The ideal candidate is proactive, creative, and highly organized, with a
strong understanding of audience engagement and analytics.
π This is a part-time position (20 hours per week) but is expected to transition to full-time within
a short period.
π Preferred working hours: 10 AM - 2 PM EST (flexibility possible).
Responsibilities
β Schedule and publish static posts across various social media platforms.
β Monitor and track engagement metrics and analytics to optimize strategy.
β Collaborate with the team to align content with branding and messaging.
β Engage with the audience by responding to comments and messages.
β Assist in developing content strategy and contribute creative ideas.
β Stay updated with social media trends to improve engagement strategies.
β Work with pre-existing creative assets but take a more proactive role in content ideation
over time.
β Communicate with internal teams to ensure brand consistency across social platforms.
π This role will not involve video content creationβonly static, written posts.
Required Experience and Qualifications
β 1+ years of experience managing social media accounts.
β Knowledge of social media analytics tools.
β Strong written English skills (C2 level or near-native proficiency).
β Understanding of brand consistency and audience engagement strategies.
π Excellent English communication skills are required. Candidates should demonstrate proper
grammar and punctuation.
Preferred Skills
β Experience with Canva or similar design tools.
β Basic knowledge of SEO and content strategy (not required but a plus).
π While SEO knowledge is a plus, formal SEO training will not be provided. However, the
company may support self-paced learning if the candidate shows strong initiative.
