Position Overview
We're looking for a Social Media and Marketing Creative who thrives in a fast-paced, idea-rich environment. This role is perfect for someone who can think big, move quickly, and juggle multiple priorities while shaping and amplifying a brand voice across various platforms.
The ideal candidate has a strong creative background in social media—particularly in content creation, trends, and reels—and ideally some experience in the hospitality industry.
This position oversees four internal accounts and several external client accounts, serving as a vital part of a broader digital and marketing strategy. You’ll work closely with a busy executive, so initiative, organization, and adaptability are key.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage social media presence across Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and TikTok
- Conceptualize and produce engaging content, especially reels and trend-based posts
- Create and manage monthly content calendars for multiple accounts; submit for review and revisions
- Write compelling copy for social posts, including captions, hashtags, and calls to action
- Track, analyze, and report on performance metrics and use insights to refine strategies
- Use tools like Later.com, Hootsuite, Canva, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) for design and scheduling
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align on content direction and brand messaging
- Support wider marketing campaigns through creative contributions and execution
- Maintain consistent tone, voice, and visual identity across platforms
- Identify and act on emerging trends and campaign opportunities
- Tackle ad hoc tasks and provide support outside traditional hours when needed
- Communicate effectively with leadership and manage shifting priorities
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in social media and marketing; hospitality industry experience is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Visual Design, or related field preferred
- Demonstrated success in content development, strategy, and social growth
- Exceptional writing and storytelling skills
- Proficiency with Canva and Adobe Creative Suite
- Familiarity with scheduling tools like Later.com or Hootsuite
- High attention to detail with a sharp visual and editorial eye
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and campaigns at once
- Self-starter with a flexible, collaborative attitude
- Organized and efficient in working with fast-paced leadership and multiple stakeholders
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite
Nice to Have
- Experience with WordPress or Squarespace
- Background in branding coordination
