Job Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and develop scalable web applications using modern frameworks and technologies.
• Lead the development of a robust, secure, and user-friendly platform that integrates health & wellness, patient management, and telehealth functionalities.
• Take full ownership of projects, from conception to deployment and beyond, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define technical solutions and product roadmaps.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices in software engineering.
• Develop and optimize APIs for performance, scalability, and security.
• Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to a strong engineering culture.

Job Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience as an engineer.
• Proven experience as a full-stack software engineer, with a strong portfolio of work using Python, Django and AWS.
• Proficiency across Typescript, Node.js, and React alongside Python experience is highly desirable but not essential.
• Familiarity with security best practices, compliance (HIPAA, GDPR), and data privacy regulations.
• Strong bias towards testing, with experience in implementing unit and integration tests.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team.
• Experience in alternative medicine, cannabis technology, digital health solutions or highly regulated industries desirable.
