We are seeking a highly creative and organized Content & Social Media Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong eye for design, a passion for storytelling, and a knack for repurposing long-form content into compelling social media posts. You will be responsible for designing and creating course materials, developing organic social content strategies, and managing product development.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, systems-driven, and self-motivated. You should have excellent communication skills and be comfortable working independently while ensuring all content aligns with our brand. You will work across three small businesses, managing content creation and social media strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Social Media Management:
- Turn long-form video content (10-40 min) into high-quality, branded reels.
- Create visually appealing social media graphics and carousel posts based on copy provided.
- Organize and schedule social media posts across platforms using Meta Business Suite and Asana.
- Post blog content with high-quality graphics and formatting on our website.
- Set up ManyChat sequences connected to social media accounts.
- Monitor engagement and adjust content based on performance metrics.
Design & Branding
- Ensure all content aligns with our established brand aesthetics.
- Design branded presentation decks in Canva based on provided outlines.
- Create email sequences and graphics for Kajabi programs.
Process & Organization
- Implement and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) in Notion.
- Research and set up new tools/processes (e.g., ManyChat integration, workflow automation).
- Maintain an organized approach to managing tasks in Asana and Notion.
Podcast Content Repurposing
- Watch recorded podcast episodes and extract engaging snippets for reels.
- Layer in B-roll footage to enhance video engagement.
- Identify key concepts and design social media posts promoting the episodes.
- Pitch the podcast to potential collaborators and guest opportunities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in content creation, video editing, and social media management.
- Strong storytelling skills—ability to extract compelling moments from long-form content.
- Graphic design proficiency (Canva expertise preferred, but willing to train the right person).
- Highly detail-oriented—content must be spell-checked and polished before submission.
- Ability to set up and optimize workflows for efficiency.
- Excellent English language skills—must be able to listen to recorded content and extract key messages.
- Proactive problem solver—comfortable researching and implementing new tools (e.g., ManyChat).
- Organized and self-motivated—can work independently while adhering to deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, with a preference for structured task-based discussions in Asana.
