Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled individual to join our client’s team as a 3D Modeling and Detailing Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with various projects that require precise 3D modeling and detailing work. The ideal candidate will be dedicated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing fluctuating workloads, ensuring timely project completions.

Responsibilities of the role:

- Conduct 3D modeling and detailing for mechanical and structural projects using specified software.

- Collaborate with project managers and estimators to ensure all necessary data and specifications are met.

- Utilize and adapt to the custom database for accurate takeoff calculations.

- Engage effectively with team members to streamline project workflows.

- Maintain documentation and update project statuses regularly.

Required Experience and Qualifications:

- Experience with Autodesk software such as Revit or AutoCAD is preferred.

- Familiarity with MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems is a plus but not mandatory.

- Ability to learn and adapt to new software quickly.

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills are essential.

- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in structural design and detailing software.

- Knowledge of the SMEP program is an advantage.

- Familiarity with project management and estimation processes.

Personality:

- Must be hardworking and take pride in delivering high-quality work.

- Adaptability to changing project requirements and the ability to handle fluctuations in task urgency is crucial.

- A proactive approach to problem-solving and collaboration with teammates.

Software & Tools

- Autodesk products (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD)

- SMEP program for takeoffs.

- Project management software as required.
