Company Size: Small Team (~25 staff), Multiple Shop Locations under One Parent Brand

About Us

We are a locally rooted, growing business that specializes in custom trophies, industrial signage, name tags, and professional ribbon products. We operate several unique shops under one umbrella and are now looking to elevate our marketing efforts. While we’ve built a strong local presence through word-of-mouth, we’re focused on expanding across Canada and refreshing our brand for a broader audience. We need a Marketing Coordinator to help us make that vision a reality.

What You’ll Do

This is a hands-on, generalist role — ideal for someone who is both a doer and a thinker. You will support and execute marketing activities across multiple channels with plenty of opportunities to bring fresh ideas and drive meaningful change. Key responsibilities include:

  • Website & Content Management: Help update and manage our various websites by refreshing outdated copy, ensuring clean visuals, and coordinating updates with our web development partners. No coding required, but it’s a bonus if you have knowledge in this area.
  • Email Marketing: Design and deploy engaging email marketing campaigns and promotions to help us connect with our audience.
  • Creative Coordination: Work closely with our internal graphics team to ensure high-quality assets for both digital and print materials, including websites and catalogs.
  • Catalog Overhaul: Manage the redesign of our printed catalogs, keeping them fresh and up to date.
  • Social Media Management: Develop, schedule, and post content across platforms to increase engagement and grow our online presence.
  • Copywriting & Visual Content: Write or edit compelling copy for product descriptions, web pages, social media posts, and promotional materials. Bonus if you have basic photo editing or design skills (Canva, Photoshop, etc.).
  • Campaign Brainstorming: Participate in the creative process by contributing fresh ideas, running with them, and receiving the support needed to bring them to life.
  • Contractor Coordination: Potentially manage freelancers or contractors from platforms like Upwork for specialized tasks.
  • Analytics & SEO (Bonus): If you have experience with SEO, paid ad management, or analytics, that’s an added plus!

Who You Are

We’re looking for a Marketing Coordinator or Generalist with a couple of years of experience (agency or small business experience is a bonus). You are:

  • Proactive & Problem-Solver: You see areas for improvement (like an outdated website) and jump in to make things better.
  • Multi-Tasker: Comfortable managing multiple priorities across both print and digital channels.
  • Great Communicator: You thrive in a collaborative environment and value clear communication.
  • Detail-Oriented & Self-Motivated: You take the initiative and follow through on tasks, ensuring everything is completed on time.
  • Marketing Savvy: Familiar with tools and processes across content creation, website management, and email marketing.

Required Tools/Skills:

  • Canva / Photoshop / Illustrator (or similar design tools)
  • WordPress / Shopify / Wix (or similar CMS)
  • Email platforms like Mailchimp, Klaviyo, etc.
  • Social media scheduling tools (Later, Buffer, etc.)
  • Google Drive / Docs / Sheets

Nice-to-Haves

  • Basic web design or HTML/CSS knowledge
  • Experience managing small budgets for paid ads (Meta, Google)
  • SEO knowledge or experience with tools like SEMrush, Ubersuggest, or Yoast
