Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Marketing Creative Assistant to join our remote team. This multifaceted role combines administrative support, creative marketing execution, and light financial responsibilities. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with experience in social media management, content creation, and a solid understanding of basic accounting principles including accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing & Creative Duties:

  • Develop, schedule, and publish engaging content across social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Assist in designing marketing assets (graphics, email campaigns, promotional materials)
  • Monitor and respond to social media activity and community engagement
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure brand consistency and campaign alignment
  • Analyze social media insights and adjust strategy as needed

Administrative Support:

  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and support project timelines
  • Maintain internal documentation and assist in process streamlining
  • Provide support with data entry, file organization, and CRM updates

Finance & Accounting Support:

  • Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable entries
  • Support monthly financial close processes and bank reconciliations
  • Help maintain accurate financial records in accounting software
  • Work with the controller on expense tracking, reporting, and budgeting tasks

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, administration, or bookkeeping roles
  • Proficiency in social media platforms, Canva or Adobe Creative Suite, and scheduling tools (e.g., Later, Hootsuite)
  • Experience with accounting tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote environment
