As a Senior/Graphic Designer, you will lead the production and visual development of digital design, including promotional, holiday, and seasonal campaigns across our web and retention channels. With advanced expertise in Figma, you’ll be instrumental in bringing ideas to life from conceptual development to delivery of final assets.

This is a role for a proactive, solutions-focused designer who thrives in fast-paced DTC environments. You’ll balance speed and craft while working closely with our Senior Art Director, Creative Director, Photographer, and Channel Marketing teams. A strong sense of ownership, a positive attitude, and the ability to move work forward quickly will be key to your success at Ridge.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Design: Concept, develop, and execute visuals for digital campaigns, including promotional launches, holiday events, and seasonal initiatives.
  • Asset Optimization: Develop and optimize graphics and images for online platforms, ensuring alignment with brand standards and compatibility with web and mobile interfaces.
  • Figma Execution: Lead design work in Figma—building layouts, organizing files, creating components, and collaborating in real-time with team members.
  • Digital Production: Prepare and deliver mockups and final design assets for various outputs, including e-commerce pages, retention email templates, paid product pages, and web banners.
  • Organizational Efficiency: Maintain an organized repository of design files with version control practices for easy access and retrieval.
  • Creative Concepting: Bring fresh ideas to brainstorms and visual strategy sessions. Collaborate with copywriters and marketers to align messaging and design.
  • Design Systems & Brand Standards: Uphold and evolve our visual identity across all touchpoints, maintaining consistency in typography, layout, and color.
  • Production Support: Manage multiple deadlines with a calm, can-do approach—balancing speed and detail without compromising quality.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Retention, Ecomm, and Brand teams. Communicate effectively and keep projects moving on tight timelines.
  • Active Participation: Engage in team discussions, design reviews, and brainstorming sessions to contribute valuable insights and improve design processes.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in graphic design, with a focus on DTC e-commerce and digital marketing. Proven track record of delivering high-quality designs that meet business objectives.
  • Figma/FigJam: Advanced proficiency in Figma, including design systems, components, and developer handoff.
  • Design Software: Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is essential.
  • Design Expertise: Strong conceptualization, visual communication, and attention to detail. Solid understanding of color theory, typography, layout, and composition principles.
  • Portfolio Quality: A portfolio showcasing creativity, technical skills, and an understanding of design principles, especially for digital platforms.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience with a strong portfolio will also be considered.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in dynamic environments with evolving design needs.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to articulate ideas and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Notion for project management, task tracking, and documentation.
  • Proficiency in Slack for effective communication and team coordination.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive, Gmail).
  • Familiarity with Loom for screen recording and sharing tutorials or presentations.
  • Expertise in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign for digital and print design.
  • Advanced skills in Figma for collaborative design, prototyping, and component systems.
  • Understanding of web design principles, optimizing graphics for both desktop and mobile.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and channels, ensuring visual assets are optimized for performance.
  • Strong grasp of typography, layout, and composition.
  • Proficiency in color theory and maintaining visual consistency across campaigns.
  • Experience with version control systems or best practices for design file management.
