Primary Objective:
The UI/UX Designer supports the development of engaging, user-centered digital experiences across Spectrio’s CMS and web platforms. This role contributes to the execution of intuitive designs by collaborating with product, engineering, and creative teams, ensuring that user needs and business goals are reflected throughout the digital journey.
Responsibilities include:
- Support user research efforts, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to inform design decisions.
- Assist in the development of wireframes, user flows, and prototypes that reflect a strong understanding of usability and interaction design principles.
- Help document and refine customer journey maps to improve the overall user experience.
- Create clean, user-friendly designs for digital interfaces, CMS applications, and responsive web pages.
- Apply brand guidelines and design system standards consistently across projects.
- Contribute to the creation of UI assets such as icons, buttons, and layouts.
- Work closely with senior designers, product managers, and developers to align design work with project requirements and timelines.
- Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback to improve design quality and functionality.
- Assist in ensuring a smooth handoff of design files to development, supporting quality assurance as needed.
- Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of Spectrio’s design system, including updating shared components and documentation.
- Help ensure consistency in look and feel across all digital products.
- Assist in gathering feedback to iterate on design patterns and guidelines.
- Stay current with design trends, tools, and best practices.
- Participate in team discussions on improving usability, accessibility, and customer experience.
- Take on opportunities to grow technical skills and broaden design capabilities through on-the-job learning and mentorship.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Web Development, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in a UI/UX design or digital product design role.
- Portfolio demonstrating a strong grasp of user-centered design, wireframing, and responsive design principles.
- Proficiency in Figma or other design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Basic understanding of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong attention to detail and an eagerness to learn in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Experience working in an agency or cross-functional team setting is a plus.
