About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Staff Frontend Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the end-to-end design, development, and maintenance of our platform's frontend features. Your expertise in React and TypeScript will be crucial in building scalable, elegant, and user-friendly interfaces that enhance our users' experience. As a key technical leader, you will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate complex requirements into intuitive digital solutions. You will have the opportunity to influence the platform's technical direction, contribute to system architecture, and help shape our engineering culture. This position offers a unique chance to work on innovative products at the intersection of real estate and fintech, making a tangible impact on democratizing real estate investing.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of engineering experience, preferably including experience at a venture-backed startup
• Proficiency in React and TypeScript
• Experience in building, launching, and maintaining products at scale
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture and design principles
• Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Grit and adaptability to thrive in an early-stage environment
• Knowledge of modern frontend tools and frameworks such as Tailwind, Next.js, GraphQL, and familiarity with backend technologies like Node.js and AWS is a plus
• Passion for fintech, real estate, and the company’s mission to democratize property investment

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of frontend features and applications
• Break down complex product requirements into manageable tasks and deliver high-quality code
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate specifications into functional interfaces
• Implement elegant, scalable, and maintainable solutions that enhance user experience
• Proactively identify opportunities for product improvement and contribute innovative ideas to influence platform development
• Maintain and improve existing frontend systems, ensuring robustness and performance
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to uphold high engineering standards
• Mentor junior team members and grow into a technical leadership role within the organization
• Help shape the engineering culture, best practices, and system architecture
