Freelance Graphic Designer

ABOUT THE ROLE

A scientific graphic designer is required to develop a comprehensive suite of branded templates for a biotech company based in Jerusalem. This remote role will involve designing assets that include social media post and profile templates, newsletter image frames, campaign and category page frames, scientific marker guide booklets, and posters. All designs must align with a refined scientific aesthetic, with inspiration drawn from references such as Random42 and SciAnimation Studio. The designer will collaborate closely with a scientific content coordinator and should be comfortable working independently within a 1-week to 3-month project timeline, with the possibility of future engagements.

Requirements

• Strong portfolio demonstrating scientific or technical design work
• Experience creating cohesive visual identities across digital and print formats
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent design tools
• Ability to interpret and translate complex scientific content into accessible visual formats
• Understanding of visual hierarchy, layout, and branding principles
• Familiarity with styles used in scientific animation and communication (see: Random42, SciAnimation Studio)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate remotely
• Availability to commit to the project timeline (1 week to 3 months)
• Open to future work based on performance
