Position: Senior Marketing Recruiter

Work hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Melbourne Time

Compensation range: AU$2,700 - AU$3,200/month

About The Role

Our client is looking for a motivated Senior Marketing Recruiter with a strong technical understanding of performance marketing to join a collaborative and fast-paced team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a people-first environment, is highly organised, and can support the end-to-end recruitment cycle for technical marketing roles.

Working closely with our client's internal team, you’ll be responsible for sourcing, screening, and interviewing top-tier marketing talent while contributing to a positive and high-touch candidate experience. The position offers growth opportunities into more client-facing responsibilities as you learn from our client's seasoned team.

Responsibilities:

  • Proactively source and engage marketing professionals with both technical and strategic expertise.
  • Conduct screening applications and interviews to assess candidates' marketing acumen and recruitment readiness.
  • Manage candidate pipelines using Bullhorn or similar ATS, ensuring smooth, organised workflows.
  • Collaborate with a senior recruiter to align top talent with active roles and client needs.
  • Maintain consistent, personalised communication with candidates.
  • Handle high volumes of candidate flow efficiently, balancing speed and quality.
  • Track application progress, placements, and feedback to optimise hiring outcomes.
  • Apply established interview frameworks and stay updated on industry best practices.
  • Contribute to recruitment marketing via blogs, webinars, and social content.
  • Identify and implement improvements across recruitment operations.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a senior marketing role or as a senior recruiter hiring for digital marketing agency roles.
  • Strong grasp of performance marketing functions: SEO, paid media, CRM/email, data analytics, etc.
  • Hands-on marketing recruitment experience or deep functional knowledge of digital marketing.
  • Proficient with ATS platforms (Bullhorn preferred).
  • Confident discussing marketing tools, strategies, and performance metrics.
  • Strong communicator with a people-first approach and ability to build lasting relationships.
  • Detail-oriented, accurate, and capable of managing multiple roles simultaneously.
  • Results-driven, competitive, and process-focused with a growth mindset.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and resourceful in managing workload and meeting deadlines.
  • Creative contributor who can support content efforts (e.g., blogs, social posts, webinars).
