Senior Graphic Designer- Remote/Part-Time

We are seeking a versatile Graphic Designer for brand and visual design with 8-10 years of work experience in B2B graphic design. This person will play a key role in refreshing our brand and developing a brand guideline for us. They will also be responsible for creating compelling visual content for our marketing initiatives. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys crafting high-quality graphics that are clean, strategic, and aligned with brand guidelines. You'll work closely with marketers, content writers, and stakeholders to create designs that support business objectives and engage our target audiences.
The timeline for this project is for 2-3 months (with a possibility of extension). We will be building a repository of images/templates aimed at reusability, meaning they'll be flexible with editable fields/text. Preferred platforms are Canva Pro, Figma libraries, Adobe Illustrator, etc. We estimate this person will work in the range of 25-30 hours per week.
Candidates will also be required to share their portfolio. Work from the B2B industry and tech-focused projects is preferred.

What the job looks like:
You'll be responsible for creating brand guidelines, designing marketing materials and graphics for case studies, white papers, article graphics, social media posts, brochures and sales collateral.
Key accountabilities include:
Brand Refresh: Collaborate with others to establish a cohesive visual language using existing assets and creating new ones where required. This includes and is not limited to the logo, color palette, typography, iconography, and accessibility specs, documented in a living, shareable brand guide.
Design Marketing Collateral: Design branded assets including presentations, reports, social graphics, event materials, web visuals, etc.
Social Media Graphics: Develop engaging visuals for LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Instagram, and other platforms, supporting campaigns, events, and product announcements.
Case Study & Report Covers: Design standout covers for internal and client-facing documents that reflect our professionalism and innovation.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with marketing, business development, UX researchers, and design leads to align visuals with campaign messaging and goals.
Template Creation: Build and maintain templates in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools for repeatable use (e.g., social posts, slide decks).
Creative Input: Participate in brainstorming and concept development for campaigns, adding visual insights and suggestions to bring ideas to life.
What makes you a great fit
You have:
At least 8-10 years working on crafting visuals, with at least 5 years of experience with B2B tech companies
A bachelor's degree or commensurate experience
Robust portfolio that applies brand guidelines thoughtfully across diverse formats like marketing collateral, social-media templates, and technical visualizations, while showcasing mastery of typography, layout, visual hierarchy, and experience with UX/UI and digital-marketing workflows.
Fluency in tools like Adobe Creative Suite, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Figma.
Ability to balance brand constraints with creative problem-solving. Experience designing for enterprise audiences, government clients, or regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, finance, federal IT) is a plus

An open mind, intellectual curiosity, and the desire to continuously learn from others and share what you are passionate about.
Nice to have knowledge and experience:
Experience working with content marketing or technical writing teams.
Ability to do light photo editing, icon creation, or illustration.
Exposure to motion graphics or video editing tools (e.g., After Effects, Premiere) is a bonus.
