JOB SUMMARY:

Marketing.com is seeking a results-driven Vice President of Marketing to lead sales enablement and strategic marketing initiatives that drive business growth and strengthen brand positioning. This role requires a leader who excels at content development, sales support, and marketing operations, ensuring the sales team is equipped with the right tools and materials to drive revenue. The VP of Marketing will oversee marketing strategy, proposal development, lead generation efforts, and internal/external communications, playing a critical role in aligning marketing efforts with sales objectives.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and manage sales presentations, proposals, website copy, and customer-facing materials to support revenue growth.
  • Create compelling case studies, product/service overviews, emails, and marketing collateral that align with customer needs and update and expand as new products and capabilities are added.
  • Collaborate with the internal Salesforce team to establish sales cadences and reporting metrics.
  • Manage and update local listing data and respond to inbound customer messages and reviews.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to refine messaging, enhance pitch materials, and tailor content for various industries and target audiences.
  • Oversee the development of internal training materials to support new hire onboarding and ongoing sales training.
  • Develop pre-acquisition materials, including customer and vendor communications, as well as transition documents and provide onboarding support.
  • Analyze market trends, consumer behaviors and needs and client competitors to develop strategies.
  • Manage a cross-functional team of creative professionals including graphic designers, web designers, product photographers, videographers.
  • Manage and prioritize work and resources for active engagements and pitches.
  • Review and approve creative developed by team ensuring goals of campaign are met.
  • Brainstorm, provide creative thinking and deliver innovative design that is not only pretty but functional.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry and marketing trends.
  • Ensure alignment between marketing initiatives and business development goals.
  • Lead the RFx response process, working with internal teams to develop strong, compelling proposals and maintain and update the general answer library.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement marketing strategies that support business growth.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging and positioning across all marketing and sales materials.
  • Lead internal and external communication initiatives to reinforce company values and capabilities.
  • Support corporate events, trade shows, and industry networking efforts to enhance brand visibility.
  • Oversee and mentor the marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Build team based on need and growth of Creative Services group.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and track the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 7 years of marketing leadership experience, with a strong focus on sales enablement and content development.
  • Expertise in proposal development, lead generation, and marketing operations.
  • Proven ability to create high-quality sales and marketing materials that drive business success.
  • Experience supporting RFx responses, business development efforts, and customer communications.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for messaging and branding.
  • Background in B2B, print, or marketing services preferred.
