Sr. Director of Marketing
Position Summary
The Sr. Director of Marketing is responsible for leading the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies to drive patient acquisition, retention, and revenue growth. This individual must bring a deep understanding of the dental industry, possess strong leadership capabilities, and demonstrate expertise across marketing disciplines—including digital marketing, brand management, and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Planning
- Marketing Strategy Development Define and implement marketing strategies aligned with business goals, focusing on brand awareness, patient acquisition, and retention.
- Market Research & Analysis Conduct market research, track industry trends, and analyze competitors to inform marketing decisions and maintain competitive advantage.
- Budget Management Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and tracking return on investment (ROI).
- Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with sales, operations, and clinical teams to align marketing initiatives and support a seamless patient journey.
- Performance Reporting Monitor KPIs, analyze campaign results, and deliver actionable insights and reports to executive leadership.
Marketing Operations & Execution
- Digital Marketing Leadership Oversee website development, SEO, social media, paid advertising, email marketing, and content strategy.
- Brand Management Maintain consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing channels and patient touchpoints.
- Campaign Execution Lead the creation and execution of integrated campaigns, including promotional events, advertising, and referral programs.
- Public Relations & Communications Manage media relations, press releases, internal communications, and thought leadership initiatives.
- Vendor Management Build and manage relationships with external agencies, consultants, and other marketing vendors.
Team Leadership & Development
- Team Building Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing marketing team; foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Performance Management Set clear goals, provide ongoing feedback, and conduct regular performance evaluations to drive continuous improvement.
- 10+ years of marketing experience, preferably within healthcare, dental, or related industries.
- Proven track record of driving growth through innovative marketing strategies.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Expertise in digital marketing platforms, CRM systems, analytics, and campaign automation tools.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and strategic thinking abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
