About the Role
Cinq’s Vice President of Brand Partnerships will play a critical role in unlocking new revenue opportunities and expanding the cultural impact of our artists by connecting them with brands in innovative, authentic, and strategic ways. This is a new function within the company, and the VP will be responsible for building it from the ground up—laying the foundation, defining best practices, and creating compelling go-to-market materials for both brand and artist partners.
As the VP of Brand Partnerships, you will lead the development and execution of strategies that align our artists with brand opportunities across a range of sectors—from fashion and tech to lifestyle and consumer products. You will be responsible for identifying, vetting, initiating, and managing brand collaborations that not only drive monetization, but also amplify visibility and deepen fan engagement.
You will collaborate cross-functionally with Cinq’s A&R, Marketing, and Artist/Label Services teams to ensure that every partnership is aligned with artist strategy and delivers clear ROI. You’ll also steward the evolution of the Cinq brand itself, guiding how we show up in the marketplace, in both digital and physical realms.
This role is ideal for someone who is entrepreneurial, strategic, and passionate about music, culture, and brand innovation. You will thrive here if you can move seamlessly between developing big-picture strategies and rolling up your sleeves to execute.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the SVP of Marketing and Artist Services, Cinq’s VP of Brand is an integral part of what makes our company successful - growing our brand through innovative partnerships and new revenue opportunities for our artists.
In this role you will develop strategies for our artists to identify new monetization channels such as brand partnerships, licensing, merchandise, fan engagement etc, and work with internal teams to execute those opportunities in a mutually beneficial way. You will set and execute the strategy for the Cinq brand as it evolves and scales, defining where and how we show up in market and how we collaborate with our artists in the digital space and the real world to increase market share.
You’ll work closely with Cinq’s A&R, Marketing and Artist/Label Services teams and external partners to ensure that every brand execution delivers ROI and artist growth, and ensures that we (both our artists, and ourselves) stand out in a crowded marketplace.
