You should be data-driven, with a proven ability to use Google Analytics, heatmaps, screen recordings, and other performance tools to identify drop-off points and design solutions that address these challenges. Your primary goal will be to design with a purpose: to increase conversions, improve user engagement, and ultimately drive more sales.

We are also open to candidates who have prior experience as performance marketers but with a keen eye for UX/UI design. If you’ve worked on driving growth and understand how design impacts performance, this could be a perfect fit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • A/B Testing: Plan and execute A/B tests, analyze results, and iterate on designs to continually improve performance.
  • Data-Driven Design: Use Google Analytics, heatmaps, screen recordings, and user behavior data to identify bottlenecks, areas for improvement, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Collaborative Work: Work closely with cross-functional teams including growth marketers, product managers, and developers to ensure designs meet both business goals and user needs.
  • User-Centric Design: Create designs that are not only visually appealing but also highly functional, intuitive, and conversion-focused.
  • Iterative Design Process: Apply a methodical approach to design through multiple iterations to ensure what you create aligns with both the growth and product teams' goals, while also serving the needs of the consumer.
  • Usability: Ensure designs are accessible, user-friendly, and seamless across all devices, maintaining high standards of accessibility and usability.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience as a UX/UI Designer, with a focus on eCommerce or performance marketing.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing data-driven design projects, particularly in improving conversion rates and user engagement.
  • Proven experience with A/B testing and usability testing to optimize designs and drive better results.
  • Proficient in Figma and other design tools (Sketch, Adobe XD, etc.).
  • Experience using Google Analytics and other performance analysis tools to identify key metrics such as drop-off rates and user behavior insights.
  • A keen eye for data and the ability to translate analytics into actionable design improvements.
  • A solid understanding of conversion funnels, landing page optimization, and strategies to boost eCommerce sales.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present design decisions based on data and performance insights.

Nice to Have:

  • Background in growth marketing or product growth, with experience in performance-driven design.
  • Familiarity with heatmaps, session recordings, or user testing tools like Hotjar or Crazy Egg.
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS for understanding design limitations and collaborating more effectively with developers.
