About the Role

  • We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer to join our remote-first product team. You will collaborate closely with designers, developers, and product managers to bring user-centric web and mobile experiences to life. Key Responsibilities

  • Translate UI/UX design wireframes and prototypes into responsive, functional interfaces.
  • Develop and implement reusable front-end components and design systems.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and accessibility.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative solutions.
  • Iterate on designs and prototypes based on usability testing and feedback.
  • Maintain consistency in visual elements and user experiences across products.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and technologies.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional experience in UI/UX development or front-end engineering.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js, or Angular).
  • Experience integrating UI with REST APIs and backend services.
  • Strong understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and web accessibility (WCAG).
  • Proficient in using tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Ability to work autonomously and communicate effectively in a remote, distributed team.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with mobile-first design and development.
  • Experience with CSS-in-JS libraries or Tailwind CSS.
  • Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Basic familiarity with back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python, or Ruby on Rails).
  • Understanding of localization/internationalization (i18n) best practices, especially for global audiences.
