About the Role

We are seeking an experienced UX/UI Designer to join our Innovation Lab team for a short-term engagement with potential for extension. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on pioneering prototypes that explore how emerging technologies, such as generative AI and immersive interfaces, are transforming user expectations within the talent acquisition space. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating high-fidelity, interactive prototypes, designing intuitive user flows, and applying design thinking methodologies to solve complex user experience challenges. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product managers and developers, will be essential to deliver innovative solutions that push the boundaries of current user engagement standards. The position offers a chance to work remotely or on-site in Chicago, with immediate availability required to meet project timelines through mid-Q4 2025.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience in UX/UI design, particularly with GenAI-powered interfaces and emerging technologies
  • Proven background in SaaS product design
  • Experience conducting user research and usability testing
  • Strong data analysis skills to inform design decisions
  • Knowledge of how new technologies influence user expectations
  • Expertise in wireframing and prototyping
  • Strong interaction design capabilities
  • Solid visual design skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Proficiency with modern design tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe XD
  • Understanding of front-end development principles
  • Familiarity with collaborative tools like Miro, Jira, and Slack

Responsibilities

  • Create high-fidelity, clickable prototypes that explore next-generation user experiences
  • Design intuitive user flows and detailed UI specifications to guide development
  • Apply design thinking methodologies to address complex UX challenges
  • Collaborate closely with the Labs team and product managers to align on project goals
  • Explore the impact of conversational and immersive interfaces on user engagement
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design solutions
  • Analyze data to optimize and refine prototypes and interfaces
  • Utilize existing wireframes and prototypes as foundations for new designs
  • Ensure consistency and quality across all design deliverables
