About The Role

BaserockAI seeks a highly skilled and passionate UI Engineer to design and develop intuitive, visually appealing interfaces for our suite of web applications. This critical role will directly impact the user experience for millions, requiring a collaborative approach and a dedication to crafting seamless integrations with our backend AI systems. Responsibilities

  • Translate designs and wireframes into clean, efficient, and reusable code, ensuring optimal performance and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Develop and maintain UI components and libraries using modern JavaScript frameworks (React preferred).
  • Collaborate closely with UX designers, product managers, and backend engineers to guarantee seamless integration of UI elements with AI-driven functionalities.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging of UI components, adhering to WCAG standards for accessibility.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of our design system and UI development processes, proposing innovative solutions to enhance user experience.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining a high standard of code quality.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in UI engineering and AI integration.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor`s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field. A Master`s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in UI engineering, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality user interfaces.
