Smalls is looking for a commercially-minded growth leader to drive the next chapter of our DTC expansion. As SVP, Growth, you will own Smalls’ direct-to-consumer revenue growth. This includes full accountability for new customer acquisition, retention, and LTV expansion. You will manage our Marketing and Product teams and collaborate across functions—especially CX, Pricing, Merchandising, and Innovation—to drive compounding, profitable growth.
This role is both strategic and executional: you’ll marry data, brand, and product to deliver outsized results. You should bring a proven track record scaling a DTC business to $100M+ in revenue, with deep experience across performance marketing, customer lifecycle, and product-led growth strategies.
What You’ll Do:
- Build and lead high-performing Marketing and Product teams that can deliver our growth goals whilst aligning them to revenue, margin, and LTV goals.
- Develop and execute a strategic Digital Product roadmap that balances our short term growth goals with laying the technical and experiential foundations to enact our longer term vision.
- Lead strategically in defining what our growth targets should be, including what CAC to LTV ratios we should be targeting, how much we should be investing in growth vs other areas, and how we balance optimizing for achieving short term growth targets with marching towards our long range vision.
- Be a trusted leader to our Product and Marketing leaders, empowering them to champion a test-and-learn culture across their teams and lead decision-making grounded in rigorous analysis and customer insight.
- Be the executive lead on revenue growth, including investor storytelling and board updates.
- Be a trusted strategic partner to our CEO, executive team, and Board.
- Collaborate closely with our CFO and the CEO on revenue forecasting, investment planning, and strategic prioritization.
- Bring strong change management leadership, with experience navigating rapid scale or business transformation.
- Take a leadership role in providing strong input into pricing, merchandising, and innovation strategies to ensure alignment with growth goals.
- Serve as a strong executive leader on the team and collaborate cross-functionally with other leaders to address Smalls’ most important strategic goals.
- Work hand-in-hand with our CEO and cross-functional teams to build strategies that fuel our growth ambitions.
- Serve as the execution sponsor for our infrastructure, ensuring that we’re investing in a scalable tech stack to support our growth.
What We’ll Love About You:
- You’ve led DTC growth at a scaled consumer brand ($100M+ revenue) and know what great looks like.
- You’re deeply analytical and commercially fluent—comfortable owning a P&L, setting growth targets, and making investment tradeoffs.
- You’re a full-funnel thinker who knows how to acquire, retain, and expand customer value through both marketing and product levers.
- You’ve built and led teams across performance marketing, lifecycle, and/or product functions.
- You work cross-functionally to influence key levers like pricing, packaging, and merchandising.
