Position : Social Media Manager

Work Hours (Client) : 9:00am - 5:00pm EST (With some flexibility and occasional extended hours as needed)
Pay Range : $1,300 to $1,800

Background
You’ll take the lead in managing over 40+ client social media accounts, ensuring exceptional communication, consistent scheduling, and process-driven execution. You’ll also be the central point for client interactions, supporting our editors, strategists, and creatives by keeping content pipelines running smoothly.
This role requires autonomy, urgency, and long-term commitment (1-3+ years). You’ll report directly to leadership and work closely with internal teams across content strategy and production.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management
- Manage and maintain 40-50 client accounts across various platforms
- Curate, schedule, and publish content using tools like Sprout Social and Frame.io
- Coordinate content calls and media shoots across clients
- Monitor content performance and ensure timely delivery
Client Communication & Support
- Respond to client queries and support requests
- Represent the brand professionally in all written and verbal communications
- Ensure client expectations are managed and met proactively
Process & Workflow Management
- Develop and refine internal workflows and documentation
- Support ongoing deliverables audits and tracking
- Coordinate with editors and content creators to maintain consistency
Who You Are
- 3-4+ years of experience in social media management
- Strong client-facing communication skills (written + verbal)
- Based in South Africa (preferred) for cultural and accent alignment
- Proven experience managing multiple brands/accounts at scale
- Fluent in English with a neutral accent
- Proactive, autonomous, and solutions-oriented
- Comfortable working EST hours: 9AM-5PM EST, Mon-Fri, with some flexibility
- Long-term mindset (1-3+ year engagement ideal)
Bonus Experience
- Campaign management with paid media budgets over $10,000
- Background in client service or agency-style workflows
- Experience working with creative teams (video editors, content strategists)
