Social Media Manager
About the Role
A social media freelancer is required to support the growth of an online therapy business through strategic and consistent digital content. The primary objective is to raise awareness of individual therapy services by creating engaging, informative, and visually compelling mental health content across multiple social media platforms. The role includes developing and scheduling posts, optimizing content for SEO, and executing strategies to increase followings, drive traffic to the website, and ultimately convert followers into therapy clients. This is a remote, part-time contract position, with project delivery expected by December 2025.
Requirements
- Proven experience in social media content creation, specifically within wellness or mental health sectors
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and how to apply them to social media strategy
- Ability to grow engagement and follower count on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
- Experience driving website traffic and improving conversion rates through social channels
- Skilled in using scheduling and analytics tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite, Meta Business Suite)
- Excellent written communication skills with a tone suited to mental health advocacy
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote work environment
- Availability for part-time work through December 2025
