We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Social Media Manager / EA to support our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on organization, creativity, and making a meaningful impact. The ideal candidate will seamlessly manage administrative tasks, support marketing initiatives, and drive social media engagement to promote a book launch, increase sales, and enhance brand visibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Calendar Management: Organize and manage the Executive’s appointments, speaking engagements, and sales meetings to ensure efficiency and alignment with priorities.
- Content Creation: Assist in creating engaging materials to support marketing efforts and increase book sales.
- Social Media Management: Focus on Instagram (feeds into Facebook) and TikTok, leveraging trends like BookTok and Bookstagram.
- Engage with LinkedIn to foster professional relationships and expand reach.
- Monitor and participate in relevant social media trends to maintain a strong online presence.
- Video Editing: Edit short- to medium-length videos using InShot and CapCut for marketing campaigns.
- Author Networking: Proactively build and nurture relationships with authors and influencers to expand reach and collaboration opportunities.
- Shared Tools Management: Use iPhone tools like shared notes and photo albums for efficient collaboration and content sharing.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant, Marketing Specialist, or similar role.
- Proficiency in Canva for content design.
- Medium proficiency in video editing using tools like InShot and CapCut.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Familiarity with social media platforms, especially Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- Comfortable using an iPhone for task management and photo-sharing tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced and remote work environment.
Qualifications:
- Background in marketing, content creation, or administrative support.
- Experience managing social media accounts with a focus on engagement and audience growth.
- Knowledge of social media analytics and basic reporting is a plus.
