Social Media Coordinator

Salary: $23.75 to $27.50 hourly

Description

We are looking for a talented Social Media Coordinator to join our team on a contract basis in Washington, District of Columbia. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping our organization's online presence and driving engagement across multiple platforms. This position is ideal for a creative and detail-oriented individual passionate about social media strategy, content creation, and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging social media campaigns that align with organizational goals.
• Create high-quality graphics and visuals using tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Illustrator, and Canva.
• Monitor and analyze performance metrics across platforms, including Facebook Insights and Google+, to optimize strategies.
• Write compelling blog posts and content to enhance brand awareness and audience engagement.
• Plan and execute targeted advertisements to reach desired audiences effectively.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all platforms.
• Stay updated on social media trends and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
• Manage and grow the organization's online community by fostering meaningful interactions.
• Conduct regular audits of social media accounts to ensure accuracy and relevance.
• Coordinate the scheduling and posting of content across multiple platforms.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Illustrator, and Canva for graphic design.
• Experience with social media analytics tools, including Facebook Insights and Google+.
• Strong understanding of advertising strategies and campaign planning.
• Excellent written communication skills for blogging and content creation.
• Ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights to improve performance.
• Knowledge of brand development and awareness strategies.
• Familiarity with current trends and tools in social media management.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
