The Role

We’re looking for a creative, strategic, and hands-on Social Media and Influencer Lead to take ownership of our organic social media strategy and influencer marketing efforts across four leading travel brands. This is a key role within the Guest Growth team, responsible for elevating our brand presence and driving engagement through social channels and creator partnerships.

You’ll lead a team of 4 talented social media specialists, operating across the UK and Europe. You’ll drive the strategy, content, campaigns, partnerships, and performance of our social media and influencer channels – with a deep understanding of platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube.

What you’ll be doing

  • Strategy: Develop and implement a cohesive social media and influencer strategy across all Awaze brands, aligned with brand positioning and marketing objectives.
  • Team Management: Lead, coach, and inspire a team of 4 social media and influencer specialists across multiple regions, fostering collaboration, high performance and creativity.
  • Channel Ownership: Oversee and grow our presence on all key platforms (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, etc.), with a focus on both brand storytelling and performance.
  • Community engagement: Develop and implement a community engagement strategy, working closely with our guest services team to deliver consistency across all communications.
  • Influencer Partnerships: Lead the development, negotiation, and management of influencer marketing – from always-on partnerships to larger brand activations and stays at our amazing properties.
  • Content Strategy & Planning: Guide creative and content production for social – ensuring platform relevance, cultural resonance, and consistent tone of voice.
  • Performance & Insights: Set KPIs, track and drive performance, and deliver regular reporting and insight-driven optimisations. Use data to inform strategy and planning.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and wider Customer Growth team to integrate social and influencer activity across the full customer journey.
  • Trendspotting & Innovation: Stay on top of social and influencer trends, platform updates, and cultural shifts – ensuring our brands remain fresh, relevant, and ahead of the curve.

Key skills we need

  • Proven experience leading social media and influencer functions, ideally within a multi-brand or pan-European business.
  • Strong understanding of Meta, TikTok, and emerging social platforms.
  • Track record of developing and executing creative, high-impact social and influencer strategies.
  • Experienced people leader with the ability to inspire, coach, and manage cross-market teams.
  • Passionate about culture, creativity, and the power of storytelling through content creation.
  • Commercially savvy and able to tie social and influencer activity to broader business goals.
  • Comfortable working at pace and balancing both strategic and hands-on responsibilities.
  • A natural collaborator and communicator with a positive, can-do attitude.
