Job Summary

As Marketing Director, you play a key role in elevating Ologie’s brand and expanding our reach in the education industry. Working closely with internal teams, you’ll craft compelling campaigns that promote new research reports, thought leadership, and other marketing initiatives. You’ll play a key role in crafting original points-of-view and thought leadership in partnership with internal experts. You’ll be responsible for our social media presence and strategy and produce dynamic, engaging digital content that resonates with clients, prospects, and industry influencers. With a balance of creativity and analytical thinking, you’ll lead marketing efforts with confidence, collaboration, and adaptability—ensuring Ologie’s story is told in a way that drives impact and growth.

Wondering if you might be a good fit? The following characteristics are a great start: You always raise the bar, never satisfied with “good enough,” and always curious and collaborative.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Implement marketing plans and strategies to achieve business goals.
  • Protect and enhance the organization's brand reputation by ensuring consistent messaging, design, and values across all marketing channels.
  • Oversee the development and execution of marketing campaigns, ensuring consistency with brand messaging and target audience.
  • Oversee the creation and distribution of marketing content across various channels, including digital, social media, and print.
  • Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest marketing trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Work closely with creative, digital, media, and account teams to ensure seamless execution of campaigns and that all marketing materials align with our objectives.
  • Manage the creation and distribution of email marketing campaigns.
  • Generate new, fresh ideas to elevate our marketing presence.
  • Identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Work closely with the new business team to achieve shared goals for the business.

To be successful in this role, our preference is that you:

  • Have 7+ years of marketing experience, preferably in an agency or brand strategy setting.
  • Have a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field.
  • Have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and effectively.
  • Have experience in developing and curating content across multiple platforms with a strong understanding of audience engagement strategies and tailored messaging.
  • Have a strong understanding and background in digital marketing, including content strategy, social media marketing, and SEO/SEM
  • Have the ability to translate data insights into actionable marketing strategies.
  • Have proven ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously, prioritizing them effectively and meeting deadlines.
  • Have strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and adaptable approach to challenges.

You’ll stand out to us if you:

  • Have experience working in marketing for higher education, health care, nonprofits, or other cause-driven fields.
  • Have experience using Hubspot or other CRM-related platforms.
  • Are proficient in Google Workspace (including Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar, and Meet).

Don’t meet all of our preferences? Studies have shown that women and people of color are less likely to apply for jobs unless they meet every single qualification. At Ologie, we are dedicated to building a diverse and inclusive workplace, so if you’re excited about this role we encourage you to apply. You may be just the right candidate for this role or another.
