Uride is on a mission to bring affordable, safe, and reliable rides to communities across Canada — and we’re growing fast. We’re looking for a creative, proactive, and digitally-savvy Social Media & Brand Coordinator to help amplify our brand voice across online and offline channels.

You’ll be the day-to-day owner of our social presence, the connector between our local teams and national brand, and a key player in making Uride the most loved ride-sharing brand in Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage daily content and community engagement across our social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Create and manage social media calendars, campaign briefs, and publishing schedules in coordination with the design and regional teams
  • Source and curate local content by working closely with Uride’s regional managers and drivers — bringing real city-level stories to life
  • Support brand campaigns, giveaways, stunts, and events, including on-ground activation coverage and post-campaign storytelling
  • Engage with our community — respond to comments, DMs, and mentions in a timely and brand-right tone
  • Leverage AI tools (Sora, ChatGPT, ElevenLabs, VEO, Canva) to draft video scripts, content ideas, and dynamic templates for social
  • Collaborate with PR and internal communications teams to help shape and share the Uride story
  • Track and report on platform performance, community sentiment, and engagement trends — with monthly insights and content optimization suggestions

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience in social media, brand marketing, or digital content roles
  • Strong writing, editing, and content coordination skills
  • Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English — strong grammar, tone, and storytelling are a must
  • Familiarity with tools like Meta Business Suite, Canva, AI video generators, and scheduling platforms
  • Passion for storytelling, community, and local impact — ideally with experience in startup or fast-paced brand environments
  • A self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and cross-functionally

Bonus: Experience with UGC, creator/influencer partnerships, or event activations
