Social Content DesignerThe Role
We are seeking a Social Content Designer to create engaging, platform-native content across paid and organic campaigns. You’ll design static visuals, edit short-form video, and produce simple motion graphics that drive performance on TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and beyond.
This is a creative-forward role for someone who understands how content moves on social — and how to make it pop. You'll collaborate closely with account managers, content strategists, and creative leads to translate brand goals into scroll-stopping visual assets.
Responsibilities
- Design static and motion graphics for social platforms
- Edit short-form videos for reels, stories, and paid ads (typically under 2 minutes)
- Interpret creative briefs and translate them into compelling visual content
- Collaborate with internal teams to align on brand strategy and execution
- Adapt designs quickly based on feedback and platform-specific best practices
- Maintain consistency and quality across all deliverables
- Stay current on social media trends, formats, and tools
- Participate in brainstorms, internal check-ins, and client calls when needed
- Assist with mockups and creative assets for client pitches or proposals
- Ensure proper backup and file organization of all final work
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience designing content for social media
- Strong portfolio showcasing both static and short-form motion/video work
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects)
- Skilled in tools like CapCut, Canva, or other mobile-friendly editing platforms
- Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Slides, Drive, etc.)
- Experience with project tools like Notion, Asana, Trello, or similar
- Solid understanding of the major platforms: Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, X/Twitter
- Familiarity with social management tools (e.g. Sprout Social, Hootsuite) is a plus
- Interest in AI-enhanced efficiencies (e.g. ChatGPT, Adobe Firefly, etc.)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Creative thinker who can contribute ideas, not just execute requests
- Agency experience preferred
