Savvy Marketing is a results-driven digital marketing agency that delivers bold, creative strategies and personal communication to businesses. We get results for some wonderful clients. We’re small (just 9 of us). We have just taken on some great new clients and we need someone to help us achieve growth for them.

We are looking for a bright, curious career-driven Social Media Advertising Intern to help our team deliver its excellent paid social campaigns effectively.

Role Description

This is a full-time remote internship role for a Social Media Advertising Intern at Savvy Marketing. This is not for just anyone who loves social media. You will be managing paid advertising, using and interpreting sophisticated analytical tools and analysing lots of data.

If you took Maths Literacy at Matric, achieved less than 50% at standard Maths, or if you couldn't stand stats at Uni, please don't apply.

While remote, you will need to be a team player. This role involves working closely with the marketing team and communicating with clients. The right candidate will be responsible for executing paid campaigns on social advertising platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok.

Qualifications

  • Matric Certificate - minimum 60% (Level 5) Standard Maths
  • A Marketing, Business Degree or diploma or a Degree with an additional Marketing Qualification.

Skills Required

  • Analytical with the ability to make sense of large amounts of data.
  • Commercial acumen and intellect - an understanding of business and marketing strategies.
  • Engaged in platforms like Instagram, & TikTok in your daily life.
  • Basic understanding of platforms like Facebook Ads Manager.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel or Google sheets.
  • A creative eye and familiarity with creative tools such as Canva a plus.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Super-organised in personal and work life.

This is a full time 6 month contract position. It does not suit someone in full time studies.
