Role Overview
As a Senior Graphic Designer at Optimite, you will lead the creation of responsive, high-impact email templates and digital assets that elevate client campaigns. You will leverage Figma, AI tools, and advanced design techniques to produce innovative solutions while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. Beyond design, you will build and maintain a strong presence on digital platforms, mentor junior designers, and help cultivate a collaborative, high-performance team culture.
Key Responsibilities
Email Design & Development (70%)
- Create responsive, mobile-first email templates optimized for various devices and platforms using Figma.
- Integrate animations, GIFs, and dynamic visual elements to boost engagement and conversions.
- Ensure compliance with accessibility standards and brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with developers to guarantee pixel-perfect execution across platforms like Klaviyo and Omnisend.
- Use AI and automation tools to improve design quality and efficiency.
Digital Presence & Community Building (15%)
- Maintain an active professional presence on platforms such as Behance, Dribbble, and LinkedIn.
- Regularly share your work, insights, and design trends to engage and grow the community.
- Represent Optimite’s creative brand externally and contribute to thought leadership in email marketing design.
Collaboration, Mentorship & Internal Projects (15%)
- Partner with copywriters, developers, and account managers to create cohesive and effective campaigns.
- Mentor junior designers by providing constructive feedback, guidance, and skill development sessions.
- Foster a positive, collaborative culture that motivates the team and encourages continuous learning.
- Design internal marketing materials and branding assets to support Optimite’s growth.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional graphic design experience with a strong portfolio emphasizing responsive email templates.
- Expert proficiency in Figma, including reusable components and design systems.
- Deep knowledge of email marketing design principles: mobile-first, accessibility, and storytelling.
- Strong attention to detail with a track record of delivering high-quality work on time.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective teamwork and mentorship.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms such as Klaviyo or Omnisend.
- Motion design skills including GIFs and animations.
- Basic HTML/CSS understanding to collaborate effectively with developers.
- Experience using AI-powered design tools to enhance creativity and productivity.
Success Metrics
- Timely delivery of high-quality, pixel-perfect email templates and assets.
- Consistent achievement of email production targets with minimal revisions.
- Timely measure and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with company goals.
