Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Poland. Our client is a leading multinational company in the building materials industry, based in Germany. The company is a producer of building materials and construction systems, comprising construction materials for drywall construction, plasterboard, cement boards, mineral fiber acoustic boards, dry mortars with gypsum for internal plaster, and cement-based external plaster, as well as insulating materials such as glass wool, stone wool, and other insulation materials. They set the benchmark for gypsum-based products and systems, as well as energy-efficient insulation materials, market development, and customer orientation. With 150 production facilities and sales organizations in over 86 countries, it is one of the big players in the market in Europe, the USA, South America, Asia, Africa, and Australia.
You will help us build and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services.
Requirements
- Strong experience with TypeScript, Nest, and Node.
- Solid understanding of building scalable and performant APIs (REST or GraphQL).
- Understanding of clean code principles, unit testing, and maintainable codebases.
- Experience with Docker and preferably Kubernetes for container orchestration.
- Deep understanding of relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, including performance tuning and query optimization.
- Ability to manage development tasks independently while maintaining high-quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Drive the creation of backend features and components, mentor junior developers, and make informed decisions to balance trade-offs.
- Design and implement cutting-edge backend architectures and solutions using modern frameworks.
- Develop robust, high-performance RESTful APIs and backend services with a focus on security and reliability.
- Design and maintain efficient relational database structures using MySQL or PostgreSQL, ensuring top performance.
- Conduct code reviews, share best practices, and actively contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
