Role Overview

As a Python Intern at SproutsAI, you will work on developing, testing, and optimizing Python-based applications. You will collaborate with engineers and data scientists to build scalable solutions, work with APIs, and assist in backend development tasks. This role offers hands-on experience in Python programming, data processing, and software development best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Python-based applications and scripts
  • Work with RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services
  • Assist in data processing, automation, and backend development
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
  • Debug and troubleshoot software issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable solutions
  • Work with frameworks such as Django or Flask (preferred but not mandatory)

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of Python programming language
  • Familiarity with databases (SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)
  • Basic knowledge of web frameworks like Flask or Django is a plus
  • Understanding of version control systems like Git
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
