What are we looking for?

• Candidate based in LATAM.
• English level C1.
• 5+ years of experience.
• Proven experience as a Production Designer or similar role in web app development.
• Strong portfolio showcasing experience in pixel-perfect design and responsive web design with effective breakpoint implementation.
• Ability to create and evolve developer aligned design systems and modify as needed.
• Proficiency in design software like Figma.
• Understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices.
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and stay organized.
• Communication & Collaboration: Effectively communicating design concepts and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Organizational Skills: Managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines efficiently.

Functions:

Pixel-Perfect Design Implementation:

• Translate design concepts and high-fidelity mockups into pixel-perfect web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and potentially JavaScript.
• Ensure precise spacing, alignment, typography, and visual consistency, matching design specifications accurately.
• Maintain design fidelity across different elements like buttons, icons, images, and text blocks.
• Conduct thorough quality control (QA) of implemented designs to ensure they meet technical specifications and visual standards.

Responsive Design and Breakpoint Management:

• Implement responsive design techniques, ensuring layouts adapt to various screen sizes and devices (smartphones, tablets, desktops) ensuring content remains legible and navigable at all breakpoints.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and developers to refine breakpoint strategies based on content, design requirements, and user data.
• Optimize images and other assets for different screen sizes and resolutions.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with UI/UX designers to understand design intent and collaborate on implementation strategies.
• Communicate effectively with developers to ensure accurate translation of design mockups into functional code.
• Provide feedback to designers regarding design feasibility and
• implementation challenges.
• Participate in team discussions and potentially client-facing meetings.

Asset Management and Maintenance:

• Efficiently manage digital assets for various formats and platforms.
• Maintain organized design files and templates.
• Stay current with best practices for web design and development, especially regarding pixel-perfect implementation and responsive design.
