About The Role

The UI / UX Designer at Dynatron Software plays a critical role in shaping the digital experiences of our products and services. This position is responsible for designing intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing user interfaces and crafting seamless user experiences across various digital assets. The ideal candidate will ensure that all elements of online interactions are optimized for usability, functionality, and aesthetic appeal. They will deliver creative and adaptive solutions to complex UI/UX challenges by staying current with industry best practices and emerging trends. Collaboration is key in this role; you will work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and fellow designers to understand user needs, translate requirements into compelling designs, and advocate for the end-user. The successful candidate will possess a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in web and mobile application design, along with technical proficiency in relevant design tools and technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, or a relevant field or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 2 years of UI / UX design experience with digital products and services
• Portfolio showcasing professional design projects for web and mobile applications
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, InVision, Balsamiq, Adobe Creative Suite, and Visio
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS (SCSS), and familiarity with iOS and Android platforms
• Experience with Design Systems, Jira, Confluence, and web accessibility standards
• Strong visual design skills with a solid understanding of design principles
• Knowledge of user-centered design principles and methodologies
• Experience conducting user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
• Experience working in an Agile development setting is a plus

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Owners and Technology Leads to gather and evaluate user requirements
• Design multi-platform interfaces for desktop and mobile devices
• Create storyboards, sketches, process flows, sitemaps, and visual prototypes to illustrate design concepts
• Develop UI mockups and prototypes that demonstrate site functionality and aesthetics
• Present design concepts to internal teams and stakeholders for feedback and approval
• Establish and maintain style standards, including fonts, colors, and imagery, through comprehensive Style Guides
• Implement UI/UX best practices and ensure compliance with accessibility standards
• Work closely with developers during implementation to ensure fidelity to design and interaction specifications
• Continuously evaluate user behavior and feedback to identify opportunities for improvement
• Test and troubleshoot UI/UX issues related to responsiveness, page layout, navigation, and functionality
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform design strategies
• Lead initiatives to enhance the overall digital user experience, advocating for user needs at all stages
