Job Description

Product Marketing Manager, Competitive & Market Insights

Quickbase is transforming how companies see, connect, and control the complex projects that are reshaping our world. We're looking for a Product Marketing Manager of Insights to help us build programs that bring market and competitive insights to key parts of the business.

In this role, you will be the source of knowledge within the company for market, customer and competitive intelligence. You will lead efforts for competitive intel, market research and own our win/loss analysis.

In this highly cross-functional role, you will partner with several teams across the business, including product, sales, customer success, solutions, and the rest of the marketing team, to ensure that Quickbase is competitively positioned in the market and identify ways to further align with customer needs and trends.

How you will make an impact:

  • Competitive Research: Monitor and analyze competitor activities, products, and market positioning. Provide actionable insights and create messaging to inform product development and go-to-market strategies
  • Customer Insights: Collect and share insights that inform our product development and marketing programs through customer interviews, surveys, and in-product channels.
  • Win/Loss Insights: Partner with other teams to build, run and curate insights from a comprehensive win-loss program.
  • Data-Driven Storytelling: Synthesize complex data into compelling narratives. Present insights to both internal stakeholders and external audiences
  • Sales Partnership and Enablement: Partner with sales to support deals and influence win rates. Create assets in support of those efforts, such as battle cards, sales slides, landing pages and other sales and marketing assets.
  • Market Intelligence Programs: Build ongoing programs to curate and share competitive and market knowledge to ensure everyone across the company is up to date on the latest competitive and market trends.

About You

  • You have at least 3+ years of prior experience in a product marketing role doing competitive intelligence, market research or building voice of customer programs
  • You have experience with B2B Enterprise SaaS software
  • You put the customers at the center of everything you do
  • You are a storyteller with a deep love of the written word and are comfortable presenting relevant data-driven stories to both internal and external audiences.
  • You are comfortable performing lightweight data analysis and passionate about identifying trends and insights
  • You are curious and have a growth mindset
  • You take ownership, are accountable, and have excellent project management skills
  • You flourish in ambiguity and can make quick, thoughtful decisions
  • You push for high standards and celebrate the wins
