About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer who thrives in remote environments, values simplicity, and loves building intuitive, scalable web applications.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate ideas into clean, usable interfaces
  • Build responsive, high-quality frontend features using modern frameworks (React and/or Angular)
  • Ensure seamless performance across browsers and devices, including mobile
  • Connect UI components with APIs and cloud-based services
  • Follow best practices for accessibility, performance optimization, and frontend security
  • Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and propose scalable solutions
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to teammates

Qualifications

  • 3+ years building modern web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and component-based frameworks (React and Angular preferred)
  • Strong command of TypeScript, async programming, and API integration
  • Advanced CSS/Sass skills (mixins, functions, partials) with a keen eye for detail
  • Familiar with responsive design, UX best practices, and cross-device support
  • Experience using analytics tools (Google Analytics, Mixpanel) to inform UI decisions
  • Solid grasp of frontend performance techniques (lazy loading, compression, CDN usage, etc.)
  • Comfortable profiling apps and identifying CPU/memory/network inefficiencies
  • Familiar with agile development processes and version control workflows
  • Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals

Required Skills

  • Background in graphic or interaction design
  • Experience working in distributed teams across time zones
  • Appreciation for well-documented, testable, maintainable code

Preferred Skills

  • Degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Self-motivated, curious, and passionate about building great products
  • Strong communicator who values feedback and collaboration
  • Open to learning and continuously improving your craft
  • Comfortable owning a project from idea to production

Pay range and compensation package

Contract-to-Hire | Remote | Up to $75/hr
