The Project and Your Role

We are supporting a client that delivers a modern, cloud-based healthcare platform used by medical practices to manage clinical workflows, patient engagement, and revenue operations in one system.

As a Senior Support Developer, you will work on routine operational tasks and support the reliability of hospital EHR modules. This includes assisting clinicians, maintaining vocabulary updates, monitoring application performance, and resolving production issues.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily operational support for a live hospital EHR system
  • Respond to clinician support requests and investigate production issues
  • Monitor platform health via Azure Application Insights; restart services when needed
  • Upload and update medical vocabularies (e.g., SNOMED)
  • Ensure high availability and responsiveness across microservices
  • Collaborate with QA and development teams to triage and resolve system incidents

Your Skills

  • .NET Framework 4.8 and .NET Core 6
  • Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure Blob Storage
  • Azure DevOps, Azure Cache for Redis, Application Insights
  • PostgreSQL, SQL, REST APIs, microservices architecture
  • Basic frontend exposure: React, Kendo UI (Telerik)
  • Experience working with hospital systems and healthcare workflows
  • Familiarity with Australian healthcare standards (e.g., SNOMED-AU, HL7, MBS)
  • Proactive and reliable in managing support tasks and platform monitoring
  • Fluent English communication
  • Availability to work in or overlap significantly with Australian time zone
