Our client is a US-based, founder-led, community-driven media company and membership platform (with a sister nonprofit) that helps brands build a trusted relationship with executives by sponsoring events and content (including podcast, email newsletters, social media, and web-based digital magazine).

About The Role

In this role, you will be responsible for managing various growth & operational tasks including content creation, social media management, email newsletters, website, and project management. The ideal candidate will be hands-on in executing tasks such as writing and posting social media content, coordinating email newsletters, and tracking analytics to optimize content across all platforms. The role requires high attention to detail, ability to work independently with a high sense of accountability and follow-through, and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze performance data from the website, emails, and several social media platforms to provide actionable insights to optimize content toward achieving goals.
  • Implement SEO best practices and potentially develop SEM campaigns to increase followers, subscribers, and generate leads that convert into paying customers through conversion rate optimization.
  • Conduct outreach and manage communications with potential partners, fostering relationships to enhance collaboration and business growth.
  • Create and post engaging articles and social media content across platforms such as websites, online magazines, LinkedIn, Instagram, potentially other platforms like YouTube, TikTok, Twitter/X, Bluesky. Create and manage social media calendars and foster online community engagement with the goal of increasing followers, subscribers, and ultimately converting to paying customers.
  • Contribute to the development of web and editorial content that resonates with target audiences.
  • Develop and manage email newsletters using tools like Mailchimp and Beehiiv.
  • Conduct research to identify relevant topics and trends for content creation, with an exceptional understanding of the existing audience and target audience for growth.
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy in all marketing materials and campaigns.
  • Develop reports and other content (e.g., Google Docs and Google Workspace) to communicate key insights and strategies.
  • Create marketing materials, such as pitch decks, media kits, and sell sheets, as needed to support content sponsorship by external brands.
  • If applicable, develop, execute, and optimize paid advertising campaigns across multiple platforms.

Competencies And Qualifications

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, with high quality of work.
  • Proven experience in a variety of marketing areas, with a strong understanding of marketing analytics and audiences.
  • Solid understanding of email marketing implementation and optimization through analytics.
  • Expertise in SEO and SEM strategies to enhance online visibility and lead generation with the goal of increasing followers, and subscribers, and converting into paying customers.
  • Proficiency in various tools and platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, Asana, Beehiiv, Mailchimp, Gsuite/Google Workspace, Bitly, Veed.io, Riverside.FM, Agorapulse, Shield, Squarespace, Softr, and Slack.
  • Experience with B2B marketing and businesses.
  • Strong writing and editing skills for newsletters, articles, and social media posts including copy, static visuals, and video/dynamic.
  • Exceptional understanding of segmentation, campaign tracking, and performance analysis.
  • Proficient in planning, executing, and overseeing projects from initiation to completion autonomously
  • Planning and Organization: Content planning, including calendars and campaign strategies.
  • Exceptional communication skills, particularly in partnership outreach, responsiveness, and relationship management both internally and externally.
  • Ability to conduct research on various topics for publication
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in executing tasks without constant supervision.
