We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to support the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at a law firm. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating marketing activities, managing internal and external communications, assisting with event planning, and ensuring smooth execution of strategic marketing initiatives. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with a strong interest in legal marketing and business development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and strategic support to the CMO in daily operations.
  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing plans and campaigns.
  • Coordinate logistics for firm-sponsored events, webinars, and sponsorships.
  • Maintain marketing databases, mailing lists, and CRM systems.
  • Draft, proofread, and format marketing materials, proposals, presentations, and newsletters.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and track industry trends.
  • Support business development efforts including RFPs, pitch documents, and client presentations.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and practice groups to gather content and updates for marketing use.
  • Liaise with external vendors, designers, and consultants as needed.
  • Monitor the firm’s digital presence including website content and social media channels.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a marketing, business development, or communications role, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and familiarity with CRM and email marketing tools (e.g., InterAction, HubSpot, Mailchimp).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and discretion when handling confidential information.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with legal marketing platforms and databases.
  • Knowledge of legal terminology and law firm structures.
  • Familiarity with SEO and digital marketing strategies.
